1. Staffs are very nice. Front desk staff can speak English fluently. Some other staff might not that good in English, but they tried hard (using Google Translate) to help 2. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. They give you new towel every day. 3. Breakfast is very simple. White bread (you can toast it also), varieties of jam, butter, 2 type of soups, tea, coffee. You can also purchase half boiled egg for 100 yen. > this was okay for us since we are not a 'Breakfast person'. 4. Room is pretty spacious. I can open 1 28 inch bag and 2 20 inch bag together on the floor. You just have to arrage it at the right angle 5. Location is about 10-15 mins from ikebukuro station. There are a lot of entertainment near the hotel 6. There is 2 kimonos on the room, you can wear it for sleep

The hotel location is good, as it is less than 10 minutes to the first entrance of the station. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful, some of them also speak English. The room is not very big, but it was enough for me, since I am out all day and only come to the room to sleep. The room was also clean. The furniture is a bit old, but the room is still ok. I also had breakfast included in the price of the accommodation; breakfast is really nothing special. There are two types of soup (plain). There is also toast that you can heat up in the oven, with butter and jam. Hot water for tea. No juice, coffee, ... All other food can be paid for additionally (eggs, ...).

We loved how central the hotels location was, it was only 5 minutes to Ikebukuro station, there was 7/11 on the corner and a Family mart just a few 100meters away as well. There was plenty of food around and plenty of transport options. The staff were also fantastic, they were lovely and could speak plenty of English. Shoutout to Minami! I hope you enjoy your future holiday to Australia! The food at the actual cafe was also amazing, with the free breakfast we got including fresh bread and all types of different broths, the dinner we had there was incredible. Overall, really happy with the place, it was a good hotel to come back to after walking 14k steps a day

Location is great, we're always staying at Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro (: pretty central, close to restaurants/konbinis/shops and most importantly public transportation! I stayed at A-307 and liked it a lot. The three of us had rooms next to each other and there was a seating area in front of our hotelroomdoors where we would meet up in the morning before heading out. All in all I really enjoyed this stay a lot (: Clean bedsheets and towels, generally clean at first glance.

The room was small, but I barely used it. Ultimately, it was more than enough for me. It was a place to store luggage and sleep, since I spent the day going around Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shibuya. It's within a few minutes of Ikebukuro station as well for transit, which helped me get to Shinjuku and Shibuya quickly and easily. Room was kept clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.
